In October 2001, Rasharkin Women's group opened an Out of School Childcare facility targeting children from 4 to 12 years.
This project is funded by the New Opportunities Fund and PlayBoard.

The club is registered with Social Services and can cater for a maximum of sixteen children daily.
The club is open from 1.30pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday during School term-time, and a pick up transport service operates from schools in the area.

During Holiday times the facility operates from 8.00am to 6.00pm.
